OOT:SC II Mirror Shield by BLUEamnesiac OOT:SC II Mirror Shield by BLUEamnesiac
This is how the Mirror Shield appeared in later versions of Ocarina of Time and Soul Calibur II. The moon and star were replaced with the Gerudo symbol because it closely resembled an Islamic symbol. I didn't hear anyone complain when the first two Zelda games had a cross on the shield.

Say, are you going to do the Soul Calibur II version of the Magic Shield?

And maybe the Armos Set's Sword and Shield?

Hmm, perhaps when I get back to making the swords. :)

Well, that's because Link was a hero, while the Gerudo were morally ambiguous thieves. Besides, it's really for the better that they get a wholly original symbol, something that's the series' own.

You're probably right, though I still like the moon and star version more. Seeing how I've seen very little discussed about the change, it doesn't seem to bother anyone. :)
