Ah, the mighty mirror shield from Ocarina of Time! Eventually I'll make the amended version that appeared in later releases of OOT and Soul Calibur II.
This was my favorite version of the Mirror Shield. I think I was one of the rare few that was disappointed when I found out that Nintendo changed it.
For some reason, I find this one very haunting as well as beautiful. It has this feel to it that gives me the creeps, as if merely touching it will inflict a curse upon me, or something.
I feel the same way and in retrospect, I think its design would have worked perfectly with Majora's Mask. But... that creepy face Mirror Shield is great too, it's a reminder of that falling moon!
I thought that too! =o Even the bottom portion looked to me like very, very simplistically drawn Giant, if you think of that round circle as its head. Then again, one could see it as a moon too.
Wow, that's meta! O.o Oh, have you come across this yet? [link] Those guys that made the awesome Majora's Mask Wii U trailer are trying to convince Nintendo to let them work on something. His English isn't very good, but I think the message is they want to work on cut scenes, movies or some kind of limited interaction thing.
It gives me the creeps for one reason. many many people died over that symbol during a war in hte middle east. Which is why the changed it in the first place XD
Yeah, I know a lot of people died over that symbol, but I still think it could have been kept in there. I would also say the same for the cross shields that Link used to carry. It's sad that a lot of people get offended by such things. Nintendo wasn't making fun of them or anything. In fact, I think it makes the game even more interesting and a little more connected to our own world.

I wish that guy the best of luck, though. =o He certainly has lots of potential!
