This Master Sword-like blade is one of my favorites. You obtain it at the Seashell Mansion in Link's Awakening. Unfortunately it only existed in Link's Wind Fish's? dream. :/
In a way it was a shared dream, but since the Island and everything on it was made by the slumbering Wind Fish, you are correct. The ending to this game was one of the best, leaving us to wonder whether Link entered the dream or that the Wind Fish's dream manifested in reality.
Yeah, me and my friend have talked about it. we think it was most likly the Wind Fish's dream and Link got sucked into it 1. so he wouldnt die from the ship wreck and 2. so he could wake the wind fish. I also liked the true\complete part of the ending you get to see when you play through the game without dying. I saw the DX version of the secret ending and it made me happy yet sad :') {I just finished the game a few days ago, is it obvious? XD}
You might be right about the saving Link part. And thanks to your comment, I started thinking about something that has bugged me for years [link] . I think Link's Awakening was a bit of a troll in a fun way ending, because it has two possible interpretations and the key to solve it is missing. Secret ending? Was that the picture of Marin at the end?
In the secret ending I youtubed, it shows a picture of Marin turning into a seagull. Remember how she wished that on the Wind Fish's egg? it repersents that wish coming true in a way. And cool, I feel special for prompting that I'll be sure to read
Oh yes, that. I didn't know it was a secret ending. But then again, I mastered the game before the DX version and was used to completing it without dying. They should really make a sequel to this one. Well another one since the Oracle series are the sequels.
ah okay. i think if i tried, i could get through it without dieing, but to save time and to satisify my curiousity, i you-tubed it. And according to the "official" time line, the oracle games are actually the prequals to Link's Awakening. I don't like that time line though, I'm working on making my own actually How are the oracle games? I'm going to be trying to get them for my birthday
I was a bit surprised to see that the Oracle games took place before LA, I had always thought it was after. But with Link's boat destroyed by the storm, I suppose it does kind of make sense. The Oracle games are awesome. It's everything LA was, but far more challenging and imaginative in design. Oh, and spread across two games. If possible, you should definitely get them. Completing both games twice and exchanging secrets in game codes will take so much time, but it satisfying.
And cool, I feel special for prompting that
